Accommodations

Lodgings in the Gulf Islands area range from inexpensive motels to five star resorts. Most, but not all, of the islands have public and private campgrounds and marinas; some have marine parks suitable for the paddler and other boaters. The locations of the public campgrounds and parks are shown on the maps for each of the islands

When traveling throughout Canada, to the Gulf Islands or anywhere around the world check out timeshares in the area. Luxurious timeshares and quaint timeshares, alike, put you right in the locations you want to be to enjoy the diverse wildlife. For affordable accommodations to help you enjoy the unique Gulf Islands climate in a stress free environment consider a timeshare for your next vacation.

Bed and breakfast accommodations are available on all the islands. The prices vary widely depending on the amenities offered, or the location of the b & b. One can pay as little as $70.00 (Cdn) per night for a comfortable room in a private home or as much as $300.00 (Cdn.) for a room with a spectacular view, a Jacuzzi, and a fireplace.
There are cottages for rent on all the islands. Again, prices vary  Children and well-trained pets are permitted at many of them.

If you are considering vacationing on any of the Gulf Islands in peak months (mid-June to mid-September), it is best to make reservations months in advance – especially for the rental cottages which are often fully booked for the season by the end of March.
