Made up of over 12 substantial islands, the Gulf Islands are interwoven with a plethora of islets too numerous to count. This unique west coast heaven of western Canada is a small flavor of the Mediterranean, blended with a unique Canadian style. The Southern Gulf Islands enjoy under thirty inches of rain per annum. Resting south west of the Strait of Georgia, along the shoreline of Vancouver Island between Nanaimo to the north and Victoria to the south, this ring of wonderful islands is in the middle of protected seas, strong tides, and dramatic coastlines.

Thetis Island and the other Southern Gulf Islands are a superb tourism destination for the whole family.
