Mayne Island has no marinas to speak of but does have a CRD public dock and a community dock.

The most protected is the Horton Bay Community Dock on the south side of the island. While there are no amenities close by this is a beautiful area to go for a walk and the crabbing is excellent in the bay. Good but crowded anchorage is also available.

The CRD public wharf at Miners Bay is a wonderful spot with easy access to Miners Bay, a quaint village with lots of history. The best reason to tie up here is to visit the historical Springwater Lodge with its’ great food and lively pub. The downside? Heavy wash from the large BC Ferry ships and commercial traffic can toss you around a little. This dock is heavily used with commercial use on a regular basis and float space reserved for emergency & loading vessels, water taxis, and float planes. An adjoining dock has both diesel and gas available; use the direct phone to call the service station.

Additional anchorage can be found in Bennett Bay, Campbell Bay and at Dinner Bay.
