Salt Spring Island Marinas and Docks

The largest of the Southern Gulf Islands, Salt Spring Island has the largest number of marinas and docks available as well.

Starting at the south end of Salt Spring brings you into Fulford Harbour. This is where the BC Ferry terminal is located for those wishing to travel to or from Swartz Bay. The Fulford Harbour Marina 250-653-4467 offers a restaurant, showers and the usual marina amenities. There is a busy public wharf as well although space is rarely available during the summer months. Fulford Harbour is a funky place and definitely worth a visit.

Musgrave Landing has a public dock at the southern end as you enter Satellite Channel. There are no amenities at this location. A little further north you reach the public dock at Burgoyne Bay. This is a small dock but good anchorage is available in the bay as well. Worth visiting on your stay is Burgoyne Bay Provincial Park, a short walk away.

Ganges: Ganges is the hub of the Gulf Islands and is really the only true town. As such, everything imaginable is available from boating supplies to kids toys and fine art and books to dining from the cheap to the expensive. Ganges is also home to the Saturday Market, a true The Saltspring Harbour Authority has a large public dock available in Ganges. While the dock is heavily used by commercial traffic, we have always found space when arriving.
