Gulf Islands Guide Photo of the Day
Made-up of more than a dozen large islands, the Gulf Islands are interwoven with a plethora of islets too numerous to count. This unique west coast paradise of Canada is a small flavor of the Mediterranean, combined with a unique Canadian style. The Gulf Islands enjoy under thirty inches of rain annually. Lying south west of the Strait of Georgia, along the coastline of Vancouver Island between Nanaimo to the north and Victoria to the south, this necklace of dazzling islands is surrounded by protected seas, strong tides, and stunning coastlines.
Salt Spring Island together with the other Gulf Islands are an excellent travel and leisure destination for the entire household.
